Each month, we feature one PEG channel to highlight their efforts within the PEG community. The channel is nominated and voted on by the PEGChannels community and is simply a small gesture to recognize all the hard work that goes into a successful PEG Channel.

How Is A Channel Chosen?

On the second Monday of each month, thread is created in the Forums for submitting nominations for the next month. You can nominate any channel, including your own. The only channels not eligible are those that have won the award in the past 12-months.

On the third Monday of each month, a poll will be created to allow members to vote. If there are too many, or too few nominations, the ballot will be adjusted by “magic”.

On the forth Monday of each month, the ballot will be closed and the channel with the most votes will be declared the winner. A post will be created on the 1st of the month featuring the winner in addition to appearing in the upper right sidebar module.

What Does The Winner Receive

In addition to the accolades and praise of their peers, recipients of this award also receive a “Channel of the Month” badge for their web site (still being developed) and are featured prominently on the home page of PEGChannels.org.

We hope to further expand this in the near future by including an interview with the winner as well.
